CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata, has released an official notification inviting applications for the position of Administrative Consultant on a short-term contractual basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Administrative Consultant position is open from February 18, 2026, to March 17, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be retired employees from CSIR, Central Autonomous Bodies, or Central Government, having held the position of Deputy Secretary or equivalent in Pay Level 12 or above, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in that post.

3. Job Location:

The position is based at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata.

4. Age Limit:

Candidates should not be more than 64 years of age as of the last date of application receipt.

5. Remuneration:

A fixed monthly amount will be paid, calculated by deducting the basic pension from the last drawn pay. For those under NPS, the remuneration is calculated as Last Basic Pay drawn minus 30% of the Last Basic Pay drawn.
