The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution has announced a vacancy for the post of Administrative Officer at the National Test House, Kolkata. The position is to be filled by promotion or deputation, including short-term contract, and is open to officers from various government bodies.

1. Position Details:

The post of Administrative Officer is in Level-11 of the pay matrix (Rs. 67700-208700) under the General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial category.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold analogous posts on a regular basis or have 5 years of regular service in posts in the pay level 10 (Rs. 56100-177500) and possess a degree from a recognized university with 5 years of experience in accounts, administration, and establishment work.

3. Application Process:

Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format through proper channel to the Under Secretary (NTH), Department of Consumer Affairs, within 45 days from the date of advertisement in Employment News.

4. Deputation Period:

The period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post, shall not exceed four years.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
