The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced the recruitment for the post of Advisor (Financial & Economic Analysis) on deputation basis at its headquarters in New Delhi. The position is open for officers from various government bodies with specific qualifications and experience.

1. Position Details:

The post of Advisor (Financial & Economic Analysis) is available at TRAI HQ, New Delhi, on deputation for a period of three years or until superannuation, whichever is earlier.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university and have 15 years of experience in telecommunications, industry, finance, accountancy, law, management, or consumer affairs.

3. Desirable Qualifications:

Graduation/Post Graduation in Economics/Statistics and working knowledge of economic modeling, statistical tools, regulatory analysis, and tariff issues.

4. Application Process:

Applications must be submitted online at https://vacancies.trai.gov.in and a hard copy should be sent to TRAI HQ by April 4, 2026.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age for appointment on deputation is 58 years as of the last date of application submission.
