Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, has announced the recruitment of Apprentice Dock Pilots under the Marine Operations Division at Haldia Dock Complex. The notification details the eligibility criteria, selection process, and application procedure.

1. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by October 24, 2025, in a sealed envelope to the Office of the Sr. Dy. Manager (P&IR), Haldia Dock Complex.

2. Total Vacancies:

There are 3 vacancies for the Apprentice Dock Pilot position, distributed as 1 for OBC, 1 for EWS, and 1 for UR.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a 2nd Mate FG Certificate or a B.Sc. in Nautical Science with 60% marks. Other Officers of HDC with a qualification of B.Sc (Nautical Science) may also be considered.

4. Age Limit:

The upper age limit is 25 years, with age relaxation applicable for OBC and existing employees of major ports in India.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process includes a Written Test and an Interview. The Written Test consists of an Objective Test and a Subject-oriented Test.
