Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL) has announced the engagement of ITI Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection procedure for the apprenticeship program.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the UCSL Trade Apprenticeship is open from July 16, 2025, to August 5, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Total Number of Seats:

A total of 5 seats are available for ITI Trade Apprenticeship in various trades including Electricians, Welders, and Plumbers.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed X standard and hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. The minimum age requirement is 18 years as of July 16, 2025.

4. Stipend Details:

Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹8,000 per month along with a meals allowance.

5. Application Fee:

There is no application fee for applying to the UCSL Trade Apprenticeship program.
