The Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, has announced the recruitment for the post of Assistant Library Information Officer on a deputation basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and important dates.

1. Position Details:

The post of Assistant Library Information Officer is a General Central Service Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial position in Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 - 1,42,400) of CCS (RP) Rules 2016.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold analogous posts on a regular basis or have five years' regular service in posts in level 6 in the pay matrix. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science and two years' professional experience in a library.

3. Application Process:

Applications along with Bio-data in the prescribed proforma and necessary documents must be forwarded to Shri Santosh Kumar, Under Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, within 60 days of publication in Employment News.

4. Maximum Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
