The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in Mining Engineering. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection procedure for the recruitment.

1. Application Start Date:

The application process for the Assistant Professor position in Mining Engineering will commence on June 24, 2024. Candidates are advised to apply online through the BPSC website.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a B.E/B.Tech/B.S/B.Sc (Engg.) in Mining Engineering/Technology with first class or equivalent. AMIE (Section- A & B) candidates with enrollment up to May 31, 2013, are also eligible.

3. Selection Process:

The selection will be based on academic record, research work, teaching skills, and an objective written test. The written test will consist of 80 questions with a total of 40 marks.

4. Reservation Policy:

Reservation benefits are available for candidates with permanent residence in Bihar, as per the state government's reservation rules.

5. Application Fee:

The application fee is ₹750 for general candidates and ₹200 for SC/ST and female candidates. Additional bank charges may apply.
