The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the application deadline for the post of Assistant Section Officer on deputation basis in the Regional Office, Chandigarh. The new deadline is February 2, 2026. Candidates who have already applied need not reapply.

1. Extended Application Deadline:

The last date for submission of applications for the Assistant Section Officer post has been extended to February 2, 2026.

2. Deputation Basis:

The position is available on a deputation basis under Foreign Service terms, and private candidates are not eligible.

3. Application Submission:

New applicants should submit their applications to the Director (HR) at UIDAI Regional Office, Chandigarh, by the extended deadline.

4. No Need to Reapply:

Candidates who have already applied against the vacancy circular dated October 24, 2025, do not need to apply again.
