Exam Pattern

1. Negative marking:
One‑third (1/3) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
2. Erasure/overwriting:
Changing an answer using Marker/White Fluid/Blade/Eraser will be treated as multiple answers and penalised at 1/3 per wrong answer.

Admit Card Details

1. Download steps:
Login to https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login > My Account > View (for the concerned advertisement) > Admit Card > View/Download.
2. Extra copy to carry:
Carry one additional printout of the e–Admit Card to the centre; get it authenticated by the Invigilator and Centre Superintendent and submit it there.
3. Centre details on dashboard:
Exam centre name/code will be displayed from 11.04.2026 (for 14–15 Apr exams), 14.04.2026 (for 17–18 Apr exams) and 17.04.2026 (for 20–21 Apr exams).
4. Print quality:
Ensure the Roll Number and Bar‑Code are clearly printed on the e–Admit Card.
5. Reporting time:
Reach the exam centre 2½ hours before the exam begins.
6. Gate closure:
Entry will be allowed only up to 1 hour before the start of the examination.
7. Mode of issue:
Admit cards are to be downloaded from the website; they will not be sent by post.
8. Declaration Form (Ghoshna Patra):
Download the prescribed form from https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in, fill it fully, paste a Gazetted Officer–attested photograph, and sign in Hindi and English; carry the filled form to the centre.
9. Photo ID to carry:
Carry a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving Licence.
10. Centre verification:
All documents/photographs will be verified by centre officials; only after verification will candidates be permitted to sit for the exam.
11. Admit card status:
Online admit card has been issued on https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Document Requirements

1. Declaration form:
This BPSC declaration (Ghoshna Patra) duly filled with Registration Number and other asked particulars.
2. Photograph:
Recent photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer, pasted in the designated box.
3. Signatures:
Candidate’s signatures in Hindi and in English in the specified boxes. Spaces are also provided for invigilator and centre superintendent signatures.
4. Affidavit for grievance:
A sworn Affidavit (Shapath‑Patra) must be uploaded along with the grievance.
5. Evidence with grievance:
Provide clear supporting evidence/proof/testimony for the alleged irregularity; name the persons involved if known.
6. Photo identity proof:
Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID/Driving Licence to be carried to the exam centre.

Important Instructions

1. Exam schedule:
The exam will be conducted across 38 districts on 14.04.2026, 15.04.2026, 17.04.2026, 18.04.2026, 20.04.2026 and 21.04.2026.
2. Reporting and entry window:
Reach the centre 2½ hours before the start; entry permitted only up to 1 hour before the examination.
3. Leaving the hall:
Candidates shall leave the examination room/campus only after the exam concludes.
4. Electronics ban:
Do not bring Mobile, Calculator, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi gadgets, Electronic Pen, Pager, Smart Watch or any electronic device to the centre; possession/use will be treated as malpractice.
5. Extra e–Admit Card:
Carry one additional e–Admit Card for the examination.

Ignore rumours/sensational messages; rely on the Commission’s official website for information.

Disqualification Criteria

1. Malpractice/electronic items:
If found indulging in malpractice or possessing electronic items in the exam hall, the candidate will be debarred from BPSC examinations for five years (including this exam).
2. Rumour mongering:
Spreading rumours or sensational misinformation related to the exam may lead to three years’ debarment from BPSC exams.
3. Legal action:
Penal action will be taken under the Bihar Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

1. Cancellation scope:
Nine (09) shifts of the AEdO written (objective) exam conducted between 14.04.2026 and 21.04.2026 under Advt. 87/2025 have been cancelled as per BPSC press release.
