How to Apply

1. Download DV letter:
Login to the BPSC online portal (bpsconline.bihar.gov.in), go to My Account, click View and download the “Documents Verification Letter” before the scheduled date.

Selection Process

1. Current stage:
Document Verification of shortlisted candidates as per the schedule in two shifts.
2. Entry requirement:
Carrying the printed Documents Verification Letter is mandatory for entry; without it candidates will not be permitted.
3. Provisional nature:
Calling for document verification does not confer any right to selection; candidature remains provisional subject to verification.
4. DV Proforma:
Submit the filled and signed Proforma‑I at the DV as prescribed in the notification.
5. Marks components (Proforma‑II):
Total marks to be claimed are 80, comprising Research/Book Publication (20), Seminar Presentation (10), Sponsored Research Project (20), and Refresher Course/Methodology etc. (10), alongside Academic components.
6. Academic marks formula (Proforma‑II):
Academic marks are to be computed as 5% of B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc(Engg.) percentage and 10% of M.E./M.Tech./M.S. percentage; Ph.D carries 05 marks as shown in the form; CGPA/CPI to percentage conversion formula must be cited from the marksheet/passing certificate.

Reservation Details

1. SC/ST/BC/EBC certificates:
Category certificates must be issued by the competent authority of Bihar; domicile-based reservation norms apply.
2. EWS certificate:
EWS certificate must be as per Government of Bihar letter no. 2622 dated 26.02.2019.
3. PwBD certificate:
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities must produce a valid disability certificate issued by the competent Medical Board; expired/invalid certificates will not be accepted.
4. Ex-servicemen:
Ex-servicemen must produce category certificate/discharge-related documents as prescribed.

Document Requirements

1. DV letter and application:
Printed Documents Verification Letter and a copy of the submitted online application form.
2. Photo ID:
One original photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving Licence/PAN Card/Passport.
3. Photographs:
Two recent passport size photographs.
4. Matriculation:
Matric/10th or equivalent certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth proof).
5. B.E./B.Tech./AMIE (A & B):
Degree certificates and all mark sheets of B.E./B.Tech./AMIE (Section A & B).
6. M.E./M.Tech./M.S.:
Postgraduate degree certificates and all mark sheets (where applicable).
7. Ph.D.:
Ph.D. Award Letter/Notification, if claimed.
8. Relevant/Appropriate branch proof:
Certificate from the university/institution where required to establish ‘Relevant/Appropriate Branch’ as per AICTE norms.
9. Division/percentage conversion:
If CGPA/Grade is awarded, a certificate from the university/institution showing equivalent percentage/Division.
10. Experience certificates:
Original experience certificates for teaching/research/industry as required in the advertisement, clearly mentioning designation, nature of duties, pay scale/level and period.
11. Private sector proof:
For private institutions, supporting proof such as Income Tax Return (ITR)/pay slips/bank statements for the claimed experience period.
12. Academic/Research claims:
Evidence for Research Papers/Books/Journals, Seminar/Conference papers, Sponsored Research/Consultancy, Major/Minor Projects, Patents/Technology transfer, FDP/Workshops/MOOCs, Industrial training, etc., wherever claimed.
13. Caste certificate:
SC/ST/BC/EBC caste certificate issued by competent authority; permanent resident/domicile proof as applicable.
14. Non‑Creamy Layer:
Valid Non‑Creamy Layer certificate for BC/EBC candidates, in the candidate’s name.
15. EWS certificate:
Economically Weaker Section certificate as per Govt. of Bihar letter no. 2622 dated 26.02.2019.
16. PwBD certificate:
Valid disability certificate (benchmark disability) issued by competent Medical Board; validity must cover the DV date.
17. Ex‑Servicemen:
Ex‑Servicemen category certificate/discharge documents as prescribed.
18. Government employees:
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer and service verification, if presently employed in Govt./PSU/Autonomous body.
19. Name change/marital status:
Where applicable, supporting documents for change of name/surname after marriage or otherwise (marriage certificate/gazette/affidavit).
20. Proforma‑I (DV):
Printed and duly filled Proforma‑I (application summary for document verification) with photograph affixed and self‑attested.
21. Proforma‑II (Marks claim):
Printed and duly filled Proforma‑II for Advertisement 94/2025 with candidate’s signature as per the format released by BPSC.

Important Instructions

1. Certificates must match application:
Only those qualifications/experience/category claims declared in the online application will be considered at verification.
2. Provisional candidature:
Mere appearance for document verification does not establish eligibility; decision of the Commission will be final.
3. Reporting with ID:
Carry the DV letter and one original photo ID on the verification day.
4. Electronic items:
Mobile phones or any electronic gadgets are not permitted at the verification venue.
5. Travel allowance:
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in document verification.
6. Filling the proforma:
Use blue/black ball pen to fill Proforma‑I yourself and strike out non‑applicable fields; sign across the affixed photograph as instructed on the form.
7. Age to mention:
State age as on 01 August 2025 in the proforma.
8. Academic marks entry (Proforma‑II):
Enter percentage/grade details for B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. and specify the CGPA/CPI-to-percentage conversion formula where applicable, as asked in the form.
9. Totals format (Proforma‑II):
The form provides spaces to write totals both in digits and in words for several items (e.g., sponsored projects, policy documents, refresher/FDP/workshops).
10. Declaration consequence:
The candidate declares the information is true; if found incorrect, legal/panel action may be taken and candidature may be cancelled.

Disqualification Criteria

1. Missing DV letter:
Candidates without the Documents Verification Letter will not be allowed entry.
2. Invalid/forged documents:
Non‑submission of originals/valid certificates or submission of forged/mismatched documents will lead to rejection.
