Selection Process

1. Shifts and timings:
Two shifts each day: first shift from 09:30 AM and second shift from 02:00 PM.
2. DV letter:
Download the Document Verification Letter from the online portal and carry a printout; it will not be sent by post.
3. Roll number format:
The 12‑digit Application Number is treated as the Roll Number for this programme.
4. Academic marks — UG:
5% of percentage marks obtained in B.Tech/B.E./B.S./B.Sc (Engg.) are counted (Performa‑II, Advt. Clause 5).
5. Academic marks — PG:
10% of percentage marks obtained in M.Tech/M.E./M.S. in the relevant branch/subject are counted (Performa‑II, Advt. Clause 5).
6. Weightage layout on Performa‑II:
BE/BTech 05; ME/MTech 10; Ph.D 05; Research/Book Publication 20; Seminar Presentation 10; Sponsored Research Project 20; Refresher Course/Methodology etc. 10; Total Weightage 80; candidates claim marks in these heads.

Reservation Details

1. Category certificates:
Candidates claiming SC/ST/BC/EBC/EWS/PwBD reservation must produce valid certificates in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority; otherwise the benefit will not be granted.
2. EWS format reference:
EWS certificate must conform to Bihar Government Resolution No. 2622, dated 26.02.2019, as cited in the notice.
3. Other‑state candidates:
Candidates from other States will be treated as Unreserved for reservation benefits, as per the notice.

Document Requirements

1. DV letter:
Printed Document Verification Letter downloaded from the portal.
2. Photo identity:
A valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/PAN Card (as listed in the notice).
3. Photographs:
Recent colour passport‑size photographs as required.
4. Educational degrees:
Original and self‑attested copies of B.E./B.Tech./AMIE (Section A & B), M.E./M.Tech./M.S. degree certificates and all semester/year mark‑sheets.
5. Ph.D. proof:
Ph.D. Award Letter/Notification (where applicable).
6. Experience:
Original experience certificates as per the advertisement, issued by the competent authority.
7. Division/percentage:
If division/class is not printed on the certificate/mark‑sheet, a certificate from the issuing University/Institute showing the division must be produced.
8. Caste/category:
SC/ST/BC/EBC certificate in the prescribed format from the competent authority (if claimed).
9. EWS:
Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate as per the cited Bihar Government resolution (if claimed).
10. PwBD:
Disability certificate issued by the competent medical authority/board (if claimed).
11. Government employee NOC:
No Objection Certificate (NOC) for serving Government/PSU employees.
12. Form‑I proforma:
Duly filled Form‑I for Document Verification completed in blue/black ink, with a recent passport‑size photograph affixed and signature across the photo and the form.
13. Ph.D. attachments (where applicable):
Pre‑Ph.D. Course Work Certificate; Registration/Enrollment Certificate; copy of Ph.D. result notification/publication date; Ph.D. degree certificate in the concerned subject/department.
14. Publications list:
List of publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE corresponding to the claimed post of experience (as sought in the proforma).
15. Training evidence:
Proof of FDPs/MOOCs with NPTEL‑AICTE e‑certification and relevant industrial/professional training, as per AICTE 2019 Clause 2.22 for the pay level claimed.
16. Form‑II (this Performa):
Performa‑II (scoring‑cum‑claim form) duly filled and signed by the candidate.
17. Certificates where indicated:
Performa‑II has columns such as ‘Certificate Attached (Yes/No)’ and ‘Seminar‑related Full Paper Attached (Yes/No)’; provide the respective certificates/papers accordingly.
18. Percentage conversion entry:
Where grade points are shown in mark sheets, enter the percentage conversion formula in Performa‑II as asked.
19. Ph.D. particulars on degree:
Performa‑II asks whether the Ph.D. degree bears the concerned subject/department and the date of result publication; keep proof accordingly.

Important Instructions

1. Presence doesn’t confirm selection:
Appearing for document verification does not by itself confirm eligibility or selection; the Commission will decide after verification.
2. Roll number mapping:
The 12‑digit Application Number is treated as the Roll Number.
3. Originals mandatory:
All originals with one set of self‑attested photocopies must be presented; incomplete documents may lead to disqualification from the process.
4. Prohibited items:
Mobile phones and electronic devices are not permitted at the verification venue.
5. Travel allowance:
No TA/DA will be paid for attending document verification.
6. Form filling:
Complete Form‑I yourself with blue/black ball‑point pen, strike out non‑applicable fields, and affix a recent passport photograph signed across the photo and the form.
7. Performa‑II declaration:
Performa‑II contains a declaration to be signed; false information may invite legal/panel action and cancellation of candidature.
