Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational/other proofs: Candidates must present originals and self‑attested copies of B.E./B.Tech./AMIE, M.E./M.Tech./M.S., Ph.D., experience and other documents as listed in the DV notice.

How to Apply

1. Download DV/self‑verification letters:
Log in to Candidate Login at https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login and, under My Account, click View against the advertisement to download the Documents Verification Letter and the self‑verification letter; letters will not be sent by post.
2. Fill Proforma‑I:
Complete Proforma‑I (Application Summary) by hand using blue/black ball pen and strike out items not applicable, and submit it at the DV venue with supporting documents.

Selection Process

1. Stage:
Document Verification of shortlisted candidates as per schedule.
2. Second‑chance window:
Verification for candidates granted another opportunity is scheduled from 08.06.2026 to 11.06.2026.
3. Commission’s discretion:
Participation in DV does not confer eligibility or selection; the Commission’s decision will be final.
4. Employed candidates:
Candidates employed under Central/State Govt/PSU/Autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
5. Proforma‑II weightage:
Marks are claimed through Proforma‑II with components: B.E./B.Tech (05), M.E./M.Tech (10), Ph.D (05), Research/Book Publication (20), Seminar Presentation (10), Sponsored Research Project (10), Research Guidance (M.Phil./M.E./M.Tech) (10), Ph.D Research Guidance (10); Total 80.
6. Academic marks computation:
As printed on the form, Academic Marks equal 5% of B.E./B.Tech./B.S./B.Sc.(Engg.) percentage and 10% of M.Tech./M.E./M.S. percentage in the relevant branch/subject.

Reservation Details

1. Category certificates:
SC/ST/EBC/BC and other reservation claims must be supported by valid certificates issued by the competent authority as per Bihar Government rules.
2. EWS certificate:
EWS claim must be supported by a certificate in the prescribed format as per Government of Bihar Resolution No. 2622 dated 26.02.2019 (Annexure‑I).
3. PwBD/Ex‑servicemen:
PwBD and Ex‑servicemen must produce certificates in the prescribed format, if applicable.
4. Women candidates:
Documents as prescribed in the notice must be produced by women candidates claiming applicable reservations/relaxations.

Document Requirements

1. Application and DV letter:
Printout of online application and the downloaded Documents Verification Letter/self‑verification letter from the BPSC websites.
2. Verification proformas:
Filled Verification Proforma‑I and Proforma‑II available on the BPSC website.
3. UG and PG proofs:
All mark‑sheets and degree certificates of B.E./B.Tech./AMIE (Section A & B) and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in original with one self‑attested photocopy each.
4. AMIE enrolment proof:
For AMIE, Enrollment/Registration Certificate showing AMIE enrolment up to 31.05.2013 with permanent recognition.
5. Ph.D. documents:
Ph.D. Award Letter/Notification and related documents (e.g., registration/course‑work completion), if applicable.
6. CGPA to percentage:
If only grade/CGPA is shown, a certificate from the university/institute for conversion to percentage/division.
7. Experience evidence:
Experience certificates (teaching/research/industry) with designation and Pay Level/equivalent; salary proof such as Income Tax Return (ITR)/payslips; and supporting office orders/notifications/minutes for pay‑level equivalence.
8. Research/academic outputs:
Research publications/books/journals, seminar/conference full papers (abstracts not to be included), sponsored research projects, major policy documents of Govt bodies, patents/technology transfer/process, and research guidance (M.Phil., M.E., M.Tech., Ph.D.) with supporting letters.
9. Ph.D guidance supporting records:
Attach copy of Ph.D allotment/guide confirmation, thesis submitted certificate, approval by examination committee and Ph.D pass award letter/notification of the supervised candidate(s) as listed in the form.
10. Publications list format:
Provide publication details as per the form (title, journal classification, international/national, authorship, journal name, indexing, ISSN/ISBN, peer‑reviewed status, date of publication).
11. Category certificates:
SC/ST/EBC/BC certificates, domicile/residence documents where applicable, and women‑specific certificates as per rules.
12. EWS certificate:
EWS certificate in the prescribed format as per Government of Bihar Resolution No. 2622 dated 26.02.2019 (Annexure‑I).
13. PwBD/Ex‑servicemen:
Disability (PwBD) certificate and Ex‑servicemen certificate, if claimed.
14. NOC:
No Objection Certificate from the present employer for those serving under Govt/PSU/Autonomous bodies/Universities.
15. Photo ID:
Valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card/PAN card/Driving Licence in original.
16. Grade point conversion (UG):
For B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg.), if grade point (CGPA/DGPA/TCPA/CPI etc.) is mentioned, attach the to‑percentage conversion formula as per marksheet/passing certificate (as printed on Proforma‑II).
17. Grade point conversion (PG):
For M.E./M.Tech./M.S., if grade point (CGPA/DGPA/TCPA/CPI etc.) is mentioned, attach the to‑percentage conversion formula as per marksheet/passing certificate (as printed on Proforma‑II).
18. Seminar presentation attachments:
Attach seminar/conference presentation certificate and, where applicable, the related full paper as indicated in the form (Yes/No columns).
19. Sponsored research projects:
Provide details and attach completion certificate, if applicable, as indicated in the form (Yes/No).
20. Policy document/patent/technology transfer:
Provide details and attach completion certificate, if applicable, as indicated in the form (Yes/No).
21. M.Tech research guidance certificates:
Attach Certificate of approval of M.Tech thesis by Examination Committee/DPPC members and the M.Tech research guidance certificate/notice issued by the concerned University, as shown in the form.

Important Instructions

1. Originals mandatory:
Produce all originals with one self‑attested photocopy of each; failure to do so may lead to cancellation of candidature.
2. Claims restricted:
Only the information/claims made in the online application and supported by originals will be considered; new claims at DV will not be entertained.
3. Roll number:
The 12‑digit Application Number is treated as the Roll Number for DV purposes.
4. Proformas:
Bring the filled Verification Proforma‑I and Proforma‑II downloaded from the BPSC website.
5. Commission’s decision:
Mere appearance in DV does not ensure eligibility/selection; the Commission’s decision will be final.
6. DV letter not by post:
Documents Verification Letters will not be dispatched by post; download from the candidate portal.
7. Applicability of common notice:
This Important Notice applies to Advt. Nos. 79/2025, 80/2025, 81/2025–86/2025, 91/2025–95/2025 and 100/2025.
8. Earlier DV/self‑verification letters valid:
Previously issued letters will also be acceptable for attending this verification.
9. Form filling instruction:
As printed on Proforma‑I, fill the form yourself using blue/black ball pen and strike out items not applicable.
10. Proforma‑II declaration:
Sign the declaration at the end of Proforma‑II confirming the correctness of information; false information may lead to cancellation and legal/panel action.
11. Counts in digits and words:
Where the form specifies, mention totals both in digits and in words (e.g., number of sponsored projects or policy documents).
