Selection Process

1. Mode:
Physical document verification of originals with self‑attested photocopies as per the checklist.
2. Schedule reference:
Appear on the specific date indicated against your advertisement number and roll number group in this notice.
3. Performa‑II components:
Form captures B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.), M.E./M.Tech/Integrated M.Tech, Ph.D, research publications/chapters, seminar presentations, sponsored projects, policy document/patent/technology transfer/product/process, and research guidance (M.Phil/M.E./M.Tech. and Ph.D).
4. Academic marks formula:
Enter Academic Marks as 5% of percentage marks for B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg.) and 10% of percentage marks for M.Tech/M.E./M.S. (relevant branch/subject).
5. Total weightage:
The ‘Total Marks Claimed by Candidate’ grid shows categories with weightages totalling 80, including B.E./B.Tech (05), M.E./M.Tech (10), Ph.D (05), Research/Book Publication (20), and 10 each for Seminar Presentation, Sponsored Research Project, Research Guidance (M.Phil/M.E./M.Tech.) and Ph.D Research Guidance.

Reservation Details

1. Caste/Category certificate:
SC/ST/BC/EBC and other reserved category candidates must bring a valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority; women’s certificates must include both father’s and husband’s names.
2. EWS:
EWS candidates must bring certificate as per Government of Bihar Resolution No. 2622 dated 26.02.2019; without this, EWS benefit will not be allowed.
3. PwBD:
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities must produce the prescribed disability certificate to claim reservation/relaxation.

Document Requirements

1. Identity proof:
Photo identity proof (e.g., Aadhaar) to be produced with the application/acknowledgement.
2. B.E./B.Tech./AMIE degree:
Original and self‑attested copies of B.E./B.Tech./AMIE (Section A & B) degree certificate and mark‑sheets.
3. AMIE enrollment/registration:
Enrollment/Registration Certificate showing AMIE (Section A & B) enrollment on or before 31.05.2013 with permanent recognition.
4. M.E./M.Tech./M.S.:
All semester/year mark‑sheets and final degree certificate for M.E./M.Tech./M.S. (where applicable).
5. Division/percentage proof:
If division or percentage is not printed on mark‑sheets, bring a certificate from the concerned University/Institute indicating division/percentage.
6. Ph.D. documents:
Ph.D. Award Letter/Notification and registration/enrollment details from the concerned department/university (where applicable).
7. Research/academic contributions:
Proof of research publications, book publications, journals, seminar/conference full papers (abstracts not included), sponsored research projects, patents/technology transfer, policy documents, and research guidance (where applicable).
8. Experience certificates:
Teaching/Research/Industry experience certificates, countersigned as required by the notice (where applicable to the post).
9. Category certificate:
SC/ST/BC/EBC and other reservation certificates in prescribed format issued by competent authority; for women, certificate must include father’s and husband’s names.
10. EWS certificate:
Valid EWS certificate as per Government of Bihar Resolution No. 2622 dated 26.02.2019.
11. PwBD certificate:
Disability certificate in the prescribed format for PwBD candidates.
12. Government employee NOC:
No Objection Certificate from the employer for serving Government employees.
13. Matriculation certificate (DOB proof):
Photocopy of the Matric/10th certificate to verify date of birth, as indicated in Proforma‑I.
14. Passport‑size photograph:
Affix a passport‑size photograph on the Proforma‑I and self‑attest as per the instruction box.
15. Performa‑II (this form):
Fill Performa‑II and sign the declaration (‘Signature of the Candidate’ and ‘Date’ fields provided).
16. Grade‑point to percentage (B.E./B.Tech):
If grade point is mentioned in the B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.) marksheet/passing certificate, provide the CGPA/DGPA/TCPA/CPI to percentage conversion formula.
17. Grade‑point to percentage (M.E./M.Tech):
If grade point is mentioned in the M.E./M.Tech/Integrated M.Tech marksheet/passing certificate, provide the CGPA/DGPA/TCPA/CPI to percentage conversion formula.
18. Seminar presentation proofs:
For each claimed seminar/conference presentation, indicate ‘Cert. Attached (Yes/No)’ and whether the related full paper is attached (Yes/No).
19. Sponsored research projects:
For each claimed project, attach the completion certificate (Yes/No) as per the table.
20. Policy/Patent/Technology transfer:
For each claimed policy document/patent/technology transfer/product/process, attach the completion certificate (Yes/No).
21. M.Tech research guidance:
Attach M.Tech research guidance certificate/notice issued by the concerned university.
22. Ph.D research guidance – supporting documents:
Attach Thesis Submitted Certificate/Copy of the supervising candidate; Certificate of approval of the concerned Ph.D thesis by the Examination Committee; and Ph.D pass award letter/notification of the supervising candidate.
23. Ph.D guidance allotment confirmation:
Provide Supervisor/Co‑Supervisor copy of confirmation letter of Ph.D allotment and allotment of Guide/Supervisor/Co‑Supervisor issued by the concerned Department/University.

Important Instructions

1. Originals required:
Candidates must present original certificates along with self‑attested photocopies on the day of verification.
2. Adherence to schedule:
Only candidates whose roll numbers are listed for a particular date should appear on that date.
3. Electronic items ban:
Mobile phones and other electronic devices are prohibited inside the verification premises.
4. No TA/DA:
No travel allowance or daily allowance will be paid for attending document verification.
5. Deficiency risk:
Failure to produce required documents in prescribed format on the verification day may lead to denial of the claimed eligibility/benefits as per Commission’s decision.
6. Form writing:
Fill Proforma‑I with blue/black ball‑point pen and strike off entries that do not apply.
7. Photo on form:
Affix a passport‑size photograph on the form and self‑attest across it as instructed.
8. Performa‑II declaration:
Performa‑II includes a declaration to be signed by the candidate stating the information is true and that incorrect information may invite legal/panel action and cancellation of candidature.
