Selection Process
- 1. Stage update:
- Document verification scheduled for candidates (roll numbers listed in the notice) under Advt. 81–86/2025.
- 2. Attendance:
- Candidates must appear only on the date assigned to them and report at least one hour before the schedule.
- 3. Non-submission of originals:
- If required original certificates are not produced on the DV day, the Commission will take an appropriate decision regarding eligibility; category benefits will not be granted without valid certificates.
- 4. Applicable candidates (this notice):
- Those absent in earlier verification or given one final opportunity are called for DV from 08.06.2026 to 11.06.2026.
- 5. DV Proforma (Form‑I):
- Form‑I (Application Summary) is provided for the Document Verification stage; fill it in blue/black pen as instructed and present it during DV.
- 6. Performa‑II (Marks claim form):
- Performa‑II records B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech/M.S., Ph.D., publications, seminars, sponsored projects, policy documents/patents/product/process and research guidance details; the summary table carries an 80‑mark weightage as per the advertisement.

- 1. Documents Verification Letter:
- Download from https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login > My Account > View (relevant advertisement) > Documents Verification Letter > Download.
- 2. Dispatch mode:
- The DV letter will not be sent by post.
Reservation Details
- 1. SC/ST/OBC/EBC certificate:
- Reservation benefits require valid caste/category certificates issued by the competent authority as per Bihar Government rules.
- 2. OBC/EBC non-creamy layer:
- Non-creamy layer certificate must be issued as per General Administration Department, Bihar (e.g., Letter Nos. 6373 dated 08.03.2011 and 704 dated 10.03.2011) and within the prescribed validity.
- 3. EWS:
- EWS applicants must produce the prescribed certificate with Income & Asset details as per Government of Bihar Resolution No.-2622 dated 26.02.2019; without it, EWS benefits will not be granted.
- 4. PwD:
- Persons with benchmark disabilities must produce a valid disability certificate from the competent medical authority in the prescribed format.
- 5. Freedom fighter dependent:
- Applicants claiming quota as dependents of freedom fighters must present the prescribed certificate as per Home Department, Bihar (e.g., Letter No. 11687 dated 30.08.2016).

- 1. Originals and copies:
- All original certificates with one set of self-attested photocopies must be produced on the DV day.
- 2. Photo ID:
- Bring a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/Passport.
- 3. BE/BTech/AMIE degree:
- B.E./B.Tech./AMIE (Section A & B) degree certificate.
- 4. AMIE enrollment/recognition:
- For AMIE, Enrollment/Registration Certificate showing enrollment on or before 31.05.2013 and permanent recognition.
- 5. ME/MTech/MS mark-sheets:
- All semester/year mark-sheets of M.E./M.Tech./M.S.
- 6. ME/MTech/MS degree:
- M.E./M.Tech./M.S. degree certificate.
- 7. Division/percentage proof:
- If Division/percentage is not printed on mark-sheets/degree, a Division/percentage certificate issued by the University/Institute is required.
- 8. PhD award/registration:
- Ph.D. Award Letter/Notification and registration/admission documents; Ph.D. coursework completion certificate where applicable.
- 9. Research and academic output:
- Proofs of research publications/book publications, journals, seminar/conference presentations as full papers (abstracts not to be included), sponsored research projects, major policy documents, patents/technology transfer/product/process, and research guidance (M.Phil./M.E./M.Tech./Ph.D.).
- 10. Experience/appointment:
- Appointment/experience certificates for teaching/research/industry, if claimed.
- 11. Training/online learning:
- Certificates for FDP/MOOCs/E-certification/industrial training etc., if claimed.
- 12. Category certificate:
- Valid SC/ST/OBC/EBC certificate from competent authority for reservation claims.
- 13. EWS certificate:
- Prescribed EWS certificate with Income & Asset details as per Government of Bihar norms.
- 14. PwD certificate:
- Valid disability certificate issued by the competent medical authority in the prescribed format.
- 15. Name change proof:
- If the candidate’s name on documents differs (e.g., after marriage), produce valid proof of name change.
- 16. NOC:
- Government/PSU/Autonomous body employees must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- 17. Form‑I (Application Summary) for DV:
- Duly filled by the candidate in blue/black ball‑point pen; strike off non‑applicable entries; affix a recent passport‑size photograph as illustrated on the form.
- 18. Ph.D. registration/enrollment certificate:
- Attach with Ph.D. details, if applicable.
- 19. Copy of Ph.D. result notification:
- Attach the copy of the Ph.D. result notification, if applicable.
- 20. Grade-to-percentage conversion:
- Where B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech marks are given as CGPA/DGPA/TCPA/CPI, provide the percentage‑conversion formula as mentioned on the marksheet/passing certificate (as asked in Performa‑II).
- 21. M.Tech guidance supporting proofs:
- For M.Phil/M.E./M.Tech research guidance claims, provide Certificate of Approval of M.Tech thesis by Examination Committee/DPPC members and research guidance certificate/notice issued by the concerned university (as per Performa‑II).
- 22. Ph.D guidance supporting proofs:
- For successful Ph.D research guidance claims, provide (i) Thesis submitted certificate/copy of the supervised candidate, (ii) Certificate of approval of the concerned Ph.D thesis by the examination committee, and (iii) Ph.D pass award letter/notification of the supervised candidate (as listed in Performa‑II).
Important Instructions
- 1. Provisional nature:
- Calling a candidate for DV is provisional and does not confer any right to selection.
- 2. Early reporting:
- Report at the Commission office at least one hour before the scheduled DV time.
- 3. Electronics prohibited:
- Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the Commission premises.
- 4. No TA/DA:
- No travel allowance is admissible for attending document verification.
- 5. Certificate validity:
- Without valid and timely issued category/EWS/PwD certificates, such benefits will not be granted.
