How to Apply

1. Login for objections:
Use Username and Password to log in to the candidate dashboard.
2. Upload proof:
Upload documentary evidence/source supporting each objection.
3. Objection window:
Submit objections online between 08.07.2026 and 12.07.2026 only.
4. Mode:
Objections through any other mode will not be accepted.
5. Login:
Visit https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login and sign in with your User ID and Password.
6. Upload path:
Open Upload/ReUpload Document and click the View button to upload the required certificates.
7. File size:
Ensure each uploaded document is up to 200kb.
8. Deadline:
Complete the uploads between 25.08.2026 and 30.08.2026.

Exam Pattern

1. Subject/Paper:
General Knowledge.
2. Booklet Series:
Series I, Series J, Series K, Series L.
3. Type of exam:
Objective multiple-choice (MCQ).
4. Total questions:
150 questions.
5. Marks per correct answer:
4 marks for each correct answer.
6. Negative marking (wrong answer):
1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
7. Options per question:
Five options (A, B, C, D and E).
8. Not Attempted option:
Option 'E' means Not Attempted; candidates should select 'E' to skip a question.
9. Penalty for leaving blank:
If no option is selected for a question, 1/3 mark will be deducted per such question.

Selection Process

1. Experience verification:
Candidates who claimed work experience must upload supporting documents for verification as per clause 6(c) of Advt. 01/2026.
2. Window and mode:
Upload on the candidate portal from 25.08.2026 to 30.08.2026 using the Upload/ReUpload Document option.

Admit Card Details

1. Photographs on eadmit card:
Paste one attested recent colour photo on the prescribed spot of the eadmit card and paste the second on its reverse in the presence of the room invigilator.
2. For unclear photo/signature cases:
Carry the filled declaration form as instructed in this notice along with valid ID.
3. Carry extra e-Admit Card:
Candidates must carry one additional copy of the eAdmit Card to the exam centre.
4. Download path:
Login to https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login > My Account > concerned advertisement ‘View’ > click ‘View/Download’ to get the eAdmit Card.
5. Admit card download start date:
04.06.2026
6. Centre details availability:
Centre details will be available on the Dashboard from 08.06.2026; use the ‘Admit Card Exam Center’ View/Download button.
7. Print quality:
Ensure the eAdmit Card clearly shows the Roll Number and BarCode.
8. Admit card delivery:
Admit cards will not be sent by post; download only from the website.

Document Requirements

1. Experience certificate:
Certificate of experience for working on the same post, as per clause 6(c) of Advt. 01/2026.
2. Appointment letter:
Upload a copy of the appointment letter.
3. Salary proof/salary slips:
Upload salary proof/salary slips (six months).
4. Bank details:
Upload Bank Account Details of the Salary Account.
5. Upload specifications:
Upload scanned documents (200kb each) on the candidate portal between 25.08.2026 and 30.08.2026.
6. Affidavit with complaint:
Upload a sworn affidavit along with the malpractice complaint; without it, no complaint will be considered.
7. Supporting evidence:
Submit complete factual details, time of incident, and names of persons involved (if known) with supporting evidence.
8. Affix attested photograph:
Affix a photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer in the designated box on the declaration form.
9. Candidate signatures:
Provide signatures in both Hindi and English on the form.
10. Declaration form:
Download from https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in, fill completely, paste an attested colour photo, and bring it to the exam centre.
11. Two photographs:
Carry two identical recent colour photographs attested by a Gazetted Officer; one to be pasted on the eadmit card, the other on its reverse in the presence of the invigilator.
12. Photo ID:
Carry the same ID as mentioned in the online application (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving Licence, etc.).
13. Submission at centre:
Submit the filled declaration form and photographs to the room invigilator on 11.06.2026 for verification; only then will entry to the exam be permitted.
14. Do not post:
These papers must not be sent to the Commission by post.

Important Instructions

1. Extra e-Admit Card:
Carry one additional copy of the e-Admit Card to the examination centre.
2. Reporting time:
Reach the designated exam centre two hours before the start; entry into the centre will be allowed only up to one hour before the exam begins.
3. Leaving the hall:
Candidates shall leave the examination hall/premises only after the examination ends.
4. Stationery restrictions:
Marker/White Fluid/Blade/Eraser are prohibited in the examination hall.
5. Electronics prohibited:
Calculators, mobiles, Bluetooth/WiFi gadgets, Smart Watch, electronic pen/pager and similar electronic items are not permitted; possession/use inside the hall will be treated as malpractice.
6. Action for malpractice:
Unfair means will invite disciplinary/legal action under the Bihar Competitive Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
7. Official updates only:
Do not pay attention to misleading/rumour-mongering; refer only to the Commission’s official website for information.
8. Admit card by post:
Admit cards will not be sent by post; download from the BPSC website only.
9. Exam date subject to change:
The exam date may change due to administrative/unavoidable reasons (as per this notice).
10. Objections mode:
Objections on answer key must be filed online only within the window; objections by any other mode or after the deadline will not be considered.

Disqualification Criteria

1. Frivolous complaints:
Submitting false/fabricated or assumption-based malpractice complaints may attract action as per rules.
