Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, has announced the engagement of Cabin Assistants and Pointsman on a contractual basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Positions Available:

Five (05) Cabin Assistants and three (03) Pointsman positions are available on a contractual basis.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be retired Indian Railways personnel with relevant experience. Educational qualification required is Madhyamik or its equivalent.

3. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by January 29, 2026.

4. Remuneration:

Cabin Assistants will receive Rs. 40,000/- per month, and Pointsman will receive Rs. 35,000/- per month.

5. Contract Duration:

The engagement is for a period of one (01) year, subject to renewal based on performance.
