The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the official notification for the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 06/2024 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate) posts. This notification details the application process, eligibility criteria, important dates, and examination stages for various non-technical positions in Indian Railways.
- 1. Application Period:
- The online application window is open from September 21, 2024, to October 20, 2024, until 23:59 hrs. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
- 2. Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have completed 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination and be between 18 to 33 years of age as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.
- 3. Examination Fee:
- The examination fee is ₹500 for General candidates, with ₹400 refundable upon appearing in the 1st Stage CBT. For PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC/ST, and Economically Backward Class candidates, the fee is ₹250, fully refundable upon appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.
- 4. Posts Available:
- The recruitment is for posts such as Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, Trains Clerk, and Junior Clerk Cum Typist across various Zonal Railways and Production Units.
- 5. Medical Standards:
- Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards for the posts they are applying for. Details are available in the notification.
