The Ministry of Education has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Chairman at the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). The position offers a pay scale of Rs.1,44,200 - 2,18,200 (Level 14) and is open for a tenure of 5 years or until the age of 60, whichever is earlier. Eligible candidates from various government and educational institutions can apply through the proper channel by January 20, 2025.

Chairman at National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education.

2. Pay Scale:

Rs.1,44,200 - 2,18,200 (Level 14) as per 7th CPC, with a pre-revised pay scale of Rs.37,400-67,000 (PB 4) and grade pay of Rs. 10,000.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be officers from Central/State Governments, Universities, or recognized institutions, holding analogous posts or with 3 years of service in Level 13 pay scale.

4. Educational Qualifications:

Post Graduate degree with 15 years of experience in educational administration.

5. Application Deadline:
