The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has released an official notification for the recruitment of the Chairman for the Commission for Agricultural Costs & Prices (CACP) on a deputation basis. The position is in Level-17 of the Pay Matrix with a tenure of five years.

1. Position:

Chairman, Commission for Agricultural Costs & Prices (CACP)

2. Pay Level:

Level-17 (Rs.225000) of Pay Matrix

3. Tenure:

Five years on deputation (including short-term contract) basis

4. Eligibility:

Officers of Indian Economic Service or Indian Statistical Service, or officers under Central/State Governments with Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Statistics and 20 years of experience.

5. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted within 60 days from the date of publication in Employment News/Rozgar Samachaar.
