The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has released an official notification for the recruitment of a Chief Engineer. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, selection procedure, and important dates for the recruitment process.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Chief Engineer position is open from August 20, 2025, to September 19, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Architecture with 20 years of experience, or M.E./M.Tech or equivalent with 17 years of experience.

3. Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a Selection Committee. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call.

4. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹500 is applicable. SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for the position is 50 years as of the last date of application submission.
