Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), Kochi, a listed premier Miniratna Schedule 'A' company of the Government of India under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, is engaging 13 Safety Assistants on contract basis. The contract tenure is a maximum of five years subject to project requirements and individual performance. Posting is at CSL or any other CSL unit or project site, with liability to be transferred between CSL units and to serve in any department of CSL, on board ships, or at any unit, work site or project in any part of India or abroad. - The contract tenure of the post is for a maximum period of five years subject to project requirements and individual performance.
- 2. No post-contract obligation:
- The vacancies are purely on contract basis for a specific period and CSL is not liable to offer appointment during or after the completion of the contract period.
- 3. Undertaking:
- The selected candidate is required to give an undertaking to comply with the CSL policy on usage of smart phones at the work place.
Disqualification Criteria
- 1. False information:
- If at any stage it is found that any information given by the candidate is false or incorrect, or that facts have been suppressed, the candidate will not be considered for selection and the candidature or appointment will be cancelled or rejected without notice
- 2. Incomplete applications:
- Incomplete applications, withdrawn applications and applications in draft status will not be considered. Filling garbage or incorrect details in any field can lead to rejection of the application.
- 3. Canvassing:
- Canvassing in any form will be treated as a disqualification
