Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata has announced the recruitment for seven posts of Commander, Dredger & Despatch Service under the Marine Department. The positions are to be filled by deputation from eligible officers of Major Port Authorities or Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies. The application deadline is March 5, 2025.

1. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by March 5, 2025.

2. Number of Posts:

Seven posts of Commander, Dredger & Despatch Service are available.

3. Pay Scale:

The pay scale is Rs. 90,000-2,40,000/- (Pre-revised Rs. 36,600-62,000/-).

4. Eligibility:

Eligible officers from Major Port Authorities or Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies can apply.

5. Deputation Period:

The deputation is initially for three years, extendable by two more years.
