State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the engagement of retired bank officers as Concurrent Auditors on a contract basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages.
- 1. Application Period:
- Online registration of applications is open from February 18, 2025, to March 15, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
- 2. Eligibility Criteria:
- Retired officers of SBI and erstwhile Associate Banks who retired on superannuation at the age of 60 are eligible. Maximum age for fresh engagement is 63 years as of February 18, 2025.
- 3. Total Number of Vacancies:
- A total of 1,194 vacancies are available for the position of Concurrent Auditor across various circles.
- 4. Selection Process:
- The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. The decision of the Bank to call candidates for the interview shall be final.
- 5. Remuneration:
- Monthly lump sum compensation ranges from ₹45,000 to ₹80,000 depending on the retired grade.
