Constable Recruitment in National Crime Records Bureau 2026

The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the recruitment of two Constable posts in the National Crime Records Bureau on a deputation basis. The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of deputation.

1. Number of Posts:

Two (02) Constable posts are available in the National Crime Records Bureau.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Police officers from Central or State Government or Union territories holding analogous posts on a regular basis are eligible. A driving license and experience in driving light and heavy motor vehicles are desirable.

3. Application Process:

Applications must be sent in the prescribed proforma along with APAR Dossiers for the last 5 years within 60 days from the date of issue of this circular.

4. Pay Scale:

Level-3 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 21700-69100 (Pre-revised Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/-).

5. Deputation Period:

The deputation period is three years, extendable as per DoPT's guidelines, with a maximum age limit of 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
