Consultant Engagement at DRDO ARDE 2025

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the engagement of retired government officials as consultants on a contract basis at the Armament Research & Development Establishment (ARDE) in Pune. The notification details the eligibility criteria, remuneration, and application process for interested candidates.

1. Application Invitation:

DRDO invites applications from retired officials from Central/State Government, PSUs, and Autonomous Bodies for consultant positions at ARDE, Pune.

2. Number of Consultants:

A total of 8 consultants are required in the Technical category.

3. Pay Levels:

Consultants are required at Pay Levels 13A, 12, and 11.

4. Contract Tenure:

The initial contract is for one year, extendable as per norms.

5. Remuneration Details:

Remuneration is fixed by deducting the basic pension from the last drawn pay. Conveyance allowance is ₹3000 for Pay Level 11 and ₹5000 for Pay Levels 12 to 14.

6. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials with experience in Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies, and those with DRDO experience will be preferred.

7. Maximum Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of application.

8. Application Submission:

Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of advertisement publication to the Director, ARDE, Pune, or via email.
