Consultant Engagement in Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau 2026

The Ministry of Civil Aviation's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is inviting applications for the engagement of two consultants on a contractual basis. The positions are for Consultant (Admin) and Consultant (Pay & Cash) at the SO/US level or equivalent. The engagement is initially for one year, extendable based on performance and requirements.

1. Positions Available:

Two consultant positions are available: Consultant (Admin) and Consultant (Pay & Cash).

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have retired from the post of SO/US or equivalent from any Central Government Ministry/Department. Preference is given to retired officers from the Central Secretariat Service (CSS).

3. Age Limit:

Applicants should not have attained the age of 62 years on the closing date of applications.

4. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted within 30 days of the circular's issue date, which is April 21, 2026.

5. Remuneration:

The remuneration is calculated as Last Pay Drawn (Basic Pay) minus Basic Pension plus Transport Allowance, if applicable.
