The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released an official notification for the engagement of retired government officials as consultants in various technical and non-technical roles at the Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL), Hyderabad. The notification outlines the eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Application Deadline:

The last date for receipt of applications is June 11, 2025. Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of publication.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies with experience in relevant fields are eligible. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of application.

4. Remuneration:

A fixed monthly amount will be provided, calculated by deducting the basic pension from the last drawn pay. Additional conveyance allowance of Rs. 3,000/- is also provided.

5. Contract Duration:

The initial contract is for one year, extendable as per norms.
