The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released an official notification inviting applications from retired government employees for the position of Consultant on a contract basis. The notification outlines the eligibility criteria, remuneration details, and application process.

1. Application Opening Date:

The application process for the Consultant position at DRDO opens on September 22, 2025.

2. Application Closing Date:

Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of advertisement publication.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Governments, PSUs, and Autonomous Bodies with relevant experience are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those with prior DRDO experience.

4. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of the application.

5. Remuneration Details:

Remuneration will be based on the last pay drawn minus the basic pension, with a fixed conveyance allowance of ₹5,000 for Pay Level 12.
