Consultant Engagement in DRDO 2025

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released an official notification for the engagement of retired government officials as consultants on a contract basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Application Deadline:

The last date for receipt of applications is July 25, 2025. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies with experience in relevant fields are eligible. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Contract Duration:

The initial contract period is one year, extendable as per norms.

4. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date for application receipt.

5. Remuneration:

For Pay Level 13A and 13, the remuneration is Rs. 60,000 for non-pensioners. Pensioners will receive a fixed amount after deducting the basic pension.
