Consultant Engagement in DRDO 2025

The Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) has announced the engagement of retired government officials as Consultants on a contract basis at the Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC), Delhi. The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Application Period:

Applications are open from August 12, 2025, to September 1, 2025. Interested candidates should apply within this period to be considered for the position.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Governments, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies with experience in government ministries or departments are eligible. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of the application.

4. Remuneration:

Remuneration is based on the last pay drawn minus the basic pension for pensioners, with a fixed conveyance allowance of Rs. 3000 for Pay Level 11.

5. Contract Duration:

The initial contract is for one year, extendable as per norms.
