The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released an official notification for the engagement of retired government officials as Consultants on a contract basis. The notification outlines the eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Application Deadline:

The last date for receipt of applications is August 7, 2025. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Governments, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies with experience in relevant fields are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Contract Tenure:

The initial contract is for one year, extendable as per norms.

4. Remuneration:

Remuneration is fixed based on the last drawn pay minus pension for pensioners, with a conveyance allowance of ₹3,000 for Pay Level-11.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of application.
