The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released an official notification inviting applications for the engagement of retired government officials as consultants on a contract basis at the Research Centre Imarat (RCI), Hyderabad. The notification outlines the eligibility criteria, remuneration details, and application process.

1. Application Invitation:

DRDO invites applications from retired officials from Central Government, State Government, PSUs, and Autonomous Bodies for the position of Consultant on a short-term contract basis.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be retired officials with experience in Central Government Ministries/Departments. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Remuneration Details:

Remuneration is based on the last pay drawn minus pension for pensioners, with a fixed conveyance allowance of Rs. 5000 per month.

4. Contract Duration:

The initial contract is for one year, extendable as per norms.

5. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
