The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the engagement of retired government officials as consultants on a contract basis. The notification details eligibility criteria, remuneration, and application process.

1. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by June 10, 2025, which is 21 days from the date of publication on the DRDO website.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies with experience in R&D activities are eligible to apply.

3. Remuneration Details:

For pensioners, the remuneration is the basic pay minus the basic pension. For non-pensioners, it ranges from ₹1,00,000 to ₹2,60,000 per month.

4. Conveyance Allowance:

A fixed monthly conveyance allowance of ₹5,000 is provided for commuting between residence and workplace.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of the application.
