The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released an official notification for the engagement of retired government officials as consultants on a contract basis at the Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad. The notification outlines the eligibility criteria, remuneration details, and application process.

1. Engagement of Consultants:

DRDO invites applications from retired officials from Central/State Government, PSUs, and Autonomous Bodies for the position of Consultant on a short-term contract basis.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials with experience in Central Government Ministries/Departments are eligible. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Remuneration Details:

Remuneration is based on the last pay drawn minus pension for pensioners, and a fixed amount for non-pensioners. Conveyance allowance is also provided.

4. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

5. Maximum Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of application.
