The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the engagement of retired government employees as Consultants on a contract basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Application Period:

Applications are open from August 29, 2025, and will close 21 days from the date of advertisement.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies with relevant experience are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Contract Duration:

The initial contract is for one year, extendable as per norms.

4. Remuneration:

Remuneration is based on the last pay drawn minus pension, with a fixed conveyance allowance of Rs 5,000 for Pay Level 12/13/13A.

5. Maximum Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of application.
