The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released an official notification inviting applications for the engagement of retired government officials as consultants on a contract basis at the Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), Visakhapatnam. The notification details the eligibility criteria, remuneration, and application process.

1. Application Invitation:

DRDO invites applications from retired officials from Central Government, State Government, PSUs, and Autonomous Bodies for engagement as consultants on a short-term contract basis.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials with experience in Central Government Ministries/Departments are eligible. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of application.

4. Remuneration Details:

Remuneration for pensioners is fixed by deducting the basic pension from the last drawn pay. Non-pensioners receive a consolidated monthly remuneration.

5. Application Process:

Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of advertisement publication, either by post or email.
