The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released an official notification for the engagement of retired government officials as consultants on a contract basis at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIR), Bengaluru. The notification outlines the eligibility criteria, terms of reference, and application process.

1. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies with experience in relevant fields are eligible to apply.

3. Contract Duration:

The initial contract is for one year, extendable by another year based on performance.

4. Remuneration:

Remuneration is based on the last pay drawn minus pension for pensioners, with a fixed conveyance allowance of ₹3000 per month.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of application.
