The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the engagement of retired government officials as consultants on a contract basis at the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) in Kochi. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Application Period:

Interested retired officials must submit their applications within 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired officials from Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies with experience in relevant fields are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those with DRDO experience.

3. Consultant Role:

The consultant will work on the airborne sonar project, focusing on the design and development of hydraulic systems and structures of the airborne winch system.

4. Remuneration:

For pensioners, the remuneration is the last drawn pay minus the basic pension. Non-pensioners will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 2,00,000, with a conveyance allowance of Rs. 3,000.

5. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the closing date of the application.
