Consultant Engagement in Labour Department 2026

The Labour Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, has announced the engagement of retired government servants as consultants on a contract basis for various posts including Junior Assistant, Senior Assistant, and Steno. The engagement is temporary and subject to specific eligibility criteria.

1. Engagement Type:

Retired government servants will be engaged as consultants on a contract basis for a period of six months, extendable up to two years or until regular appointments are made.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be retired from the post of Sr. Assistant/Assistant Section Officer or above, with experience in Labour Department, Accounts, IT, Administration, Vigilance, or RTI.

3. Application Deadline:

The last date for submission of applications is April 30, 2026. Applications received after this date will not be entertained.

4. Application Process:

Interested candidates must submit the prescribed application form along with required documents to the office of the Secretary cum Commissioner (Labour), Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

5. Contract Terms:

The engagement is full-time and temporary, with no entitlement to allowances such as HRA, transport, or personal staff.
