The Ministry of Textiles is seeking applications for the role of Consultant (Legal) from retired government servants with a legal background, specifically those who have served as Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, or Director.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be retired from Central Government offices, have a legal background, and should not be more than 64 years of age as of January 1, 2025. They must have experience dealing with legal matters in any Department/Ministry of Central Government for the last 5 years prior to retirement.

3. Application Deadline:

Interested candidates must submit their applications via email by January 6, 2025.

4. Contract Terms:

The initial engagement is for one year, extendable based on performance and requirement. The position is full-time and temporary.

5. Remuneration:

Monthly emoluments will be equivalent to the last pay drawn minus the pension, plus local conveyance. No Dearness Allowance is admissible.
