The Ministry of Civil Aviation has released an official notification inviting applications for the position of Consultant (Pay & Cash) at the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on a contractual basis. This opportunity is open to retired Central Government personnel at the Section Officer/Under Secretary level.

1. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by October 8, 2025, either to the Receipt and DAK Section of AAIB or via email at dg.aaib-moca@gov.in.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have retired from the post of Section Officer/Under Secretary or equivalent from any Central Government Ministry/Department with at least 5 years of experience in Finance at the level of Section Officer/Under Secretary.

3. Contract Duration:

The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and requirement, not exceeding five years or until the age of 65.

4. Place of Posting:

The position is based in New Delhi, with potential travel across India as per AAIB requirements.

5. Remuneration:

Remuneration will be regulated as per Department of Expenditure guidelines, with allowances as applicable.
