British India Corporation Limited, under the Ministry of Textiles, invites applications for the position of Consultant on a fixed-term contract basis for retired government officials. The position is based in the CMD Secretariat, Ministry of Textiles, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi. The application deadline is September 16, 2024.

1. Position:

Consultant for retired government officials on a fixed-term contract basis.

2. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by September 16, 2024.

3. Age Limit:

Candidates must be below 63 years of age.

4. Educational Qualification:

Graduate or Diploma holders are eligible to apply.

5. Work Location:

CMD Secretariat, Ministry of Textiles, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi.

6. Experience Requirement:

Experience in handling personal/disciplinary cases and property cases is required.

7. Remuneration:

Remuneration will be determined by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement.

8. Tenure:

The initial contract is for one year, extendable based on performance and need.

9. Leave Policy:

Eligible for 12 days of leave per year on a pro-rata basis; unavailed leave cannot be carried forward.

10. TA/DA:

No TA/DA for joining or completion of assignment; admissible TA/DA for outstation duties as per Assistant Manager level in BIC.
