Job Details
The Director of CSIR-CGCRI will provide scientific leadership and overall administrative control of the laboratory, steer its mission and align programmes with national social and industrial priorities. The role entails building and leading multidisciplinary R&D teams with emphasis on translational research, creating an enabling environment for high-level research and technology development, and delivering impactful scientific, technological and societal outcomes. The appointment is in Pay Matrix Level-15 and is tenured for six years or until the incumbent attains 60 years of age, whichever is earlier; this may be extended by up to three years in exceptional cases as per CSIR rules.
