CSIR-CMERI has released an official notification for the recruitment of Technician-I positions across various trades. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the CSIR-CMERI Technician-I recruitment is open from December 22, 2025, to January 21, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Total Number of Vacancies:

A total of 20 vacancies are available for Technician-I positions across various trades, including Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, and Digital Photography.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have completed SSC/10th Standard with Science subjects and possess an ITI certificate or equivalent in the relevant trade. Additional experience and skills are desirable.

4. Application Fee:

A non-refundable application fee of ₹500 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/Women/PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process includes a Trade Test followed by a Competitive Written Examination. The final merit list will be based on the marks obtained in the written examination.
