The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance, invites applications for its Internship Program for the year 2024-25. The program is open to postgraduate and Ph.D. students in Economics, Law, Finance, and Management, offering a unique opportunity to engage in economic policy research and development.

1. Internship Duration:

The internship is scheduled from December 2024 to February 2025, providing a comprehensive exposure to economic policy formulation.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be pursuing Post Graduation or Ph.D. in Economics, Law, Finance, or Management from top-ranked institutions as per NIRF or QS rankings.

3. Application Process:

Interested candidates must apply online through the MoF-DEA internship portal by November 2024. Applications not submitted through the portal will not be considered.

4. Remuneration:

Selected interns will receive a token remuneration of ₹10,000 per month for PG students and ₹20,000 per month for Ph.D. students, subject to satisfactory completion of the internship.

5. Research Topics:

Interns will work on various research topics related to macro-economic management, capital markets, fiscal policy, and more, under the guidance of senior DEA officials.
