The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the recruitment for the post of Despatch Rider. The positions are to be filled on a deputation or absorption basis among the regular Multi-Tasking Staff, Group C in the Ministry of Home Affairs, or from regular Despatch Rider or Group C employees from other Central Government Ministries.

There are 4 vacancies available for the position of Despatch Rider.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be regular Multi-Tasking Staff, Group C in the Ministry of Home Affairs or regular Despatch Rider or Group C employees from other Central Government Ministries with the required qualifications and experience.

3. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by January 16, 2026.

4. Pay Level:

The position is classified under Level 2 in the pay matrix, with a salary range of ₹19,900 to ₹63,200.

5. Essential Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a valid driving license for Motor Cycle or Autorickshaw, have two years of experience in driving, and be able to read English and Hindi or regional languages.
