The office of DG Fire Service, Civil Defence & Home Guards, an attached office of the Ministry of Home Affairs, is engaging one retired Indian Air Force officer (rank of Wing Commander, Fighter Controller/Radar Branch) as Consultant on the Air Raid Warning System (ARWS) Project on contractual basis at New Delhi, for modernization of the Air Raid Warning System under the Civil Defence setup. The engagement continues till project completion, extendable/terminable at the discretion of the competent authority, and not beyond five years after superannuation.
