Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has announced the recruitment of Diploma Trainees in Electrical, Civil, and Electronics disciplines. The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, selection procedure, and important dates.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Diploma Trainee positions is open from December 9, 2022, to December 31, 2022. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a full-time regular three-year diploma in the relevant discipline of engineering with a minimum of 70% marks. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/ME are not allowed.

3. Age Limit:

The upper age limit is 27 years as of December 31, 2022. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.

4. Selection Process:

The selection process consists of a Computer Based Test (CBT) with two parts: Technical Knowledge Test and Supervisory Aptitude Test.

5. Application Fee:

A non-refundable application fee of ₹300 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
