The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the recruitment for the post of Director General in the Narcotics Control Bureau on a deputation basis. The position is open to officers from All India Services and other Group A Central Services, with specific eligibility criteria and experience requirements.

1. Position Available:

The post of Director General in the Narcotics Control Bureau is available on a deputation basis.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department and possess a Bachelor's Degree with eight years of experience in enforcement of regulatory laws, investigation of economic and criminal offences, and intelligence collection.

3. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted within six weeks from the date of the circular or advertisement in Employment News, whichever is later.

4. Maximum Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation is 58 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

5. Deputation Terms:

The deputation period shall not exceed five years, and the terms will be governed by the Department of Personnel & Training's guidelines.
