The Ministry of Textiles has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Director at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textiles & Management (SVPISTM), Coimbatore. The notification outlines the eligibility criteria, terms of appointment, and application process.

1. Position:

Applications are invited for the post of Director at SVPISTM, Coimbatore.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. and Post Graduation in management from a leading Business school, with at least 10 years of experience in a senior management position in the textile industry.

3. Age Limit:

Candidates should not exceed 55 years of age, relaxable as per the decision of the Selection Committee.

4. Application Deadline:

The last date for receipt of applications is September 15, 2025.

5. Emoluments:

Pay scale of Rs.37,400 - 67,000 in PB-4 with a Grade Pay of Rs.10,000 and a Special allowance of Rs.3,000.
